A trader may not belong to more than one room at the same time
An Iraqi trader, whether a natural or a legal person, has the right to join the Chamber of Commerce in which his place of business is located within its jurisdiction
Acceptance of the auctioneer’s affiliation according to his classification of the room according to Law (58) of 1987 and the instructions issued thereunder
The Council of the Chamber may accept the affiliation of a non-Iraqi merchant residing in Iraq, on the condition of reciprocity, after obtaining the approval of the federation
Registration of trade names, registration in the commercial register and keeping the necessary records according to the amended Trade Law (30) of 1984 and System No. (6) of 1985
Companies: They are classified into four categories: excellent - first - second - third
Merchants: They are classified into five categories: excellent - first - second - third - fourth
Non-affiliated with the Chamber: They are those who are granted a trade name only and a commercial registration of their activity is established according to the instructions of System No. (6) of 1985. They are (pharmacies and stores - hotels - laboratories - restaurants - halls and cafes) and they are not granted an identity card.
Auctioneers: They are classified into four categories: first, second, third, and fourth
Tapu issued by the state departments or a lease contract certified by a notary public or a lease contract for the shop or office issued by a licensed Dalia office and approved by the Chamber
Confirmation of a current account from a government or private bank
The national or nationality card, the nationality certificate, and the residence card
A copy of the passport - optional

Company registration papers: certificate of incorporation, incorporation permission decision, meeting minutes and company articles of incorporation
A letter of non-objection to reserve the trade name issued by the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce
Tapu in the name of the company or a lease contract for the company from one of the offices approved by the Chamber
4 personal photos of the authorized director of the company
The national or nationality card, the nationality certificate, and the residence card of the authorized manager of the company
The presence of the authorized manager of the company or an agent with an official power of attorney and bringing the original copies
Bring the support of the Municipal Council, in which he mentions his full name, the full name of the mother, and the address of the office that he intends to open, along with bringing his documents and the housing card, in order to obtain security approval from the relevant authorities, and after receiving the approval, the affiliation procedures are completed and he brings with him
